Claire Bergeron
Claire Bergeron is editor-in-chief of nasdrives.ca and is responsible for editorial review. She reads the guides and explainers before they publish, with an eye above all on clarity: terms like CMR, parity or RAID-Z are explained rather than assumed. Estimates must be marked as estimates — nothing that is a model calculation is presented as a measurement.
She checks that recommendations suit the device, the budget and the use case, that the Canadian buying context is framed correctly (landed cost and local warranty, never a currency 'penalty'), and that internal links point at the right calculator and data pages. Contradictions between text and figures go back for correction. The note 'Editorially reviewed by Claire Bergeron' on a guide means exactly that: the text has been read through and fits the site's method.
Her aim is that a reader can make a buying decision without having to wade through spec sheets themselves.
Focus areas: Editorial review · Quality assurance · Plain-language clarity
